Conversation

bluearrow THE WORLD TODAY. CONVERSATION FOR YOUNG MINDS

How important is music in our lives? Is there too much money in professional sport? Are smartphones turning us all into zombies? Is the education system preparing teenagers for tests or for life?

These and many other burning questions will be the basis of our ever evolving conversation course which will focus on contemporary life.

This course is designed for young people with a high level of English (minimum C1).

The course will mainly be an opportunity to practice speaking about hot topics that are part of our daily lives. It will also be an excellent opportunity to extend your range of vocabulary and to gain experience in particular skills such as giving presentations.

The course will be conducted by Andrew Holister who has been teaching English for 40 years in Cambridge, Los Angeles, Cagliari, San Marino and Bologna. He has a passion for the media in all of its forms, for design, travelling, sport, cinema, TV and for languages. He is particularly interested in how fast the English language is evolving and changing.
